Major EPC contractor Vikran Engineering Limited has secured a contract to develop a large-scale solar power project in Maharashtra. The company received a Letter of Award (LOA) on November 10, 2025, from Carbonminus Maharashtra One Private Limited, for an Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning (EPC) contract worth Rs. 1641.91 crore.
This major contract is for the development of a 505 MWAC capacity crystalline ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project. The project will be grid interactive and spread across various districts in Maharashtra under the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) LIS scheme.
The work includes the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar power plants. The contract is expected to be executed within 11 months, highlighting Vikran Engineering’s strong capability in delivering large renewable energy projects on time.
