Waaree Energies Gets Major Solar EPC Order Enhancement

Waaree Energies Limited, through its subsidiary Waaree Renewable Technologies, has received an enhanced order for the execution of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) works on a large-scale solar power project. The contract now includes a solar power plant with a capacity of 980 MWp (700 MWac) on a turnkey basis.

This enhancement increases the total order value to Rs. 1017.82 crore, including taxes, with an additional scope value of Rs. 27.22 crore. All other terms and conditions of the contract remain unchanged following the earlier order intimation submitted in February 2024.

The order was awarded by a leading domestic renewable energy company, reflecting Waaree Energies’ growing role in India’s clean energy sector. The execution timeline for the enhanced scope will be mutually decided by the parties involved.
